Terms and Conditions
ENTRIES LIMITED. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR ENTRY IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFULLY ENTERED. ONE ENTRY ONLY PER ARTIST.
ELIGIBILITY
Winners to be announced on Opening Night.
Artworks can be 2-Dimensional or 3-Dimensional. 2D artworks must be no larger than 30cmx30cm. 3D artworks must be no larger than 30cmx30cmx30cm. These measurements are INCLUSIVE of frame/display apparatus.
All artworks must be for sale and must be at the price indicated on the entry form, inclusive of the 30% commission.
AC members are not eligible for prizes except for People’s Choice section.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Artworks must be an original composition by the artist and must not infringe copyright.
Entry fee is $20. $5 from each entry donated to the Yacaaba Centre.

2D artwork must be wired and ready to hang. Wire/cord must reach 3cm from the top edge of the frame (see illustration below).
Entry label must be attached to the back bottom right with artist name, title and price displayed clearly (see below).
AC will hang all artworks as they deem fit, in line with the gallery guidelines. AC will not accept content that is obscene in any way, pornographic, indecent, inflammatory, defamatory or racist to any person or group of people.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
AC reserves the right to cancel any entries or not display work that is in breach of any of the T&Cs.
DELIVERY
Delivery of artwork at the following times only: Saturday 30 November 2024 between 10am and 1pm OR Sunday 1 December 2024 between 10am and 1pm
Courier and post by Friday 29 November 2024 to Attention: AC 303030 Art Prize 11a Tingara Road, Nelson Bay NSW 2315. Courier delivery and return at artists own cost.
If artwork is not delivered by these dates, it will not be included in the exhibition and fees will not be refunded.
Packaging will not be stored by the gallery for artists dropping off works in person. Artists are responsible for bringing the appropriate packaging for transport of works upon collection.
COLLECTION AND RETURN OF WORKS
Artist collection in person: Unsold works MUST be collected from AC at d’Albora Marina on Sunday 29 December 2024 from 10am to 4pm (note: artwork will not be released earlier than this time). Courier collection at artists own cost: From Artisan Collective (Ground Floor, d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay) by Monday 30 December 2024.
Works not collected by 19 January 2025 will be disposed of.
A proxy may be nominated by the artist to collect on their behalf. Proxy’s names must be emailed to ac2024artprize@gmail.com and their matching ID must be shown to collect the artwork.
SALE OF ARTWORKS:
30% commission on artwork sales applies. In the event of a sale, the bank details supplied on your entry form will be used for payment of sales. It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure bank details are correct.
Artist settlements are prepared and finalised up to 30 days after exhibition’s end. Prize money payments are made into the nominated account on this form in the exhibition month.
No online catalogue will be available for artworks in the Art Prize.
INSURANCE:
While we take the utmost care of artwork, AC takes no responsibility for theft, loss or damage of artwork once received by AC. It is advised that concerned artists purchase their own insurance.
Without the above rules adhered to, your artwork will not be exhibited.
